We are happy to announce that our IVF journey was successful!

Thanks to many of our dearest friends and family - we were able to raise the money needed for one round of IVF.

In April 2024, Lauren underwent the egg retrieval process resulting in 3 genetically healthy embryos.

In late January 2025, we were able to complete our first frozen embryo transfer (FET).

STICK BABY STICK!

After a rocky start with the medication protocol, we were a touch worried that this embryo wasn’t going to have the most hospitable environment to grow within. Thankfully, they were stubborn and didn’t give up.

We got our first positive test 7 days past transfer.

Naturally, Lauren then began obsessively testing over the next week before our clinic began blood tests.

THE FIRST TRIMESTER

The first trimester was filled with equal parts anxiety and hope.

Having lost a few pregnancies prior, every milestone felt weighty and extra important. We relied heavily on blood tests and extra ultrasounds to keep our fears at bay.

Lauren held strong with multiple daily shots and medications.

Thankfully, weening off of most of them by then end of the first trimester.

THE SECOND TRIMESTER

We are cruising right along through the second trimester.

Lauren is feeling great and full of energy again.

Baby is growing beautifully! Anatomy scan placed them in the overall 66% percentile so far.

Oh, and did we mention… its a boy!
